The 5 Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra

  • Trimbakeshwar (Nashik): Located near the origin of the Godavari River, this is considered the holiest among them. Its unique feature is the three-faced Linga, representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar.

  • Bhimashankar (Pune): Situated in the Sahyadri ranges, this temple is associated with Lord Shiva defeating the demon Tripurasura. It is believed to be the source of the Bhima River.

  • Grishneshwar (Ellora, Aurangabad): Located near the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves, it is believed to be the last (12th) of the Jyotirlingas, known for its distinct Hemadpanthi architecture.

  • Aundha Nagnath (Hingoli): This is considered the eighth Jyotirlinga and is said to be the first one built, with a history going back to the Treta Yuga.

  • Parli Vaijnath (Beed): Known as a powerful healing center, this temple is deeply associated with legends of wellness and is often referred to as Lord Shiva as the healer ("Vaidyanath").

PUNE - PARLI VAIJNATH

Pick up from Pune Airport / Railway Station and proceed to Parli vaijnath. On arrival check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Hotel.

After morning breakfast take a Darshan Parli Vaijnath (Jyotirlinga) then proceed to Aundha Nagnath (jyotirlinga) then take a darshan & proceed to Aurangabad check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Hotel.

After morning breakfast visit local sightseeing including Ellora caves and Ghrishneshwar temple darshan then proceed to shirdi. Overnight in hotel.

Early morning at 4 or 5 am take darshan of Sai Baba and after morning breakfast Proceed to Nashik (Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga), take darshan and return to Nashik, then visit of Nashik sightseeing Including pandav leni caves , Kalaram Temple, after sightseeing check in hotel & relax. Overnight in hotel.
