Trip Overview
A Ladakh Trip begins in Leh, the heart of Ladakh, where travellers usually spend the first day acclimatising before heading to higher altitudes. After exploring Leh's famous monasteries, markets, and historical sites, the journey continues towards the remote village of Hanle.
Hanle is known for its ancient monastery, peaceful surroundings, and one of the world's highest astronomical observatories. From here, the adventure continues to Umling La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering spectacular mountain views and an unforgettable driving experience.
The journey then moves towards Tso Moriri Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-covered mountains and open grasslands. Compared to other lakes in Ladakh, Tso Moriri is quieter and less crowded, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature.
This Leh Ladakh with Hanle, Umling La, and Tso Moriri route offers the perfect combination of adventure, peaceful landscapes, local culture, and unforgettable road trips.
Why Plan a Ladakh Trip?
A Ladakh Trip is much more than a holiday. It is a journey through mountain passes, peaceful villages, monasteries, rivers, and some of the most spectacular landscapes in India.

Whether you are planning a Ladakh Trip with Family or Friends, a bike expedition, or a backpacking adventure, this journey offers the perfect balance of nature, adventure, and culture.
Why Visit Hanle?

Away from the busy tourist routes, Hanle offers a peaceful atmosphere where travellers can enjoy nature and experience the traditional lifestyle of the local people.
Why Visit Umling La?
Umling La Pass is one of the biggest highlights of this Ladakh Trip. Located at an altitude of over 5,800 metres (19,000 feet), it is recognised as one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
