Known as the "City of Dreams," it features a blend of colonial architecture, bustling markets, and iconic landmarks like Marine Drive.
Lonavala is a popular twin hill station in Maharashtra's Sahyadri ranges, located 622m above sea level. Known for its lush greenery, waterfalls, and ancient Buddhist Karla/Bhaja caves, it is a premier weekend getaway near Mumbai (96km) and Pune (64km). It is famous for its chikki (sweet) and peak tourism occurs during the monsoons.
Mahabaleshwar is a premier hill station in Maharashtra's Satara district, nestled in the Western Ghats at over 4,500 ft.
