Hampta Pass is a high-altitude crossover trek that connects the lush green Kullu Valley to the stark, arid landscapes of the Lahaul region. Day-wise itinerary
01Arrival in Manal, Drive to Jobra | Trek to Chhika
Arrival in Manal, Drive to Jobra | Trek to Chhika
Pickup from Manali Mall Road at 11:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Jobra.
Begin the beautiful trek from Jobra to Chhika through lush green valleys and mountain trails.
Reach the Chhika campsite, surrounded by vast meadows with the Rani River flowing nearby.
Check in to the camps, enjoy dinner under the stars, and relax with an overnight stay.
02Chhika to Balu ka Ghera
Chhika to Balu ka Ghera
Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast.
After that, we will proceed towards balu ka ghera, a packed lunch will be provided.
Enough water on the way, River crossing, boulder walk, and colorful tiny flowers on the way.
The place is covered with snow and greens whereas the name implies a mound of sand.
But it is said that this place was formed with the sands and dust deposited by the river and hence the name.
Balu ka Ghera campsite is a flat ground amidst the mountains that you will cross the next day to reach the pass.
03Balu ka Ghera to Shea Goru (via Hampta Pass)

After breakfast at campsite, the final day of the trek begins with a gradual ascent towards Gurson Bugyal (approx. 3.5 km).
Situated at an altitude of 3,400m (11,150 ft), Gurson Bugyal is a breathtaking high-altitude meadow that offers panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and other Himalayan peaks.
From Gurson, the trail begins a gentle 5.5 km descent through alpine forests and meadows, eventually reaching the roadhead near Joshimath (1,875m / 6,150 ft).
A short 15 km drive (approximately 45 minutes) brings you to your guesthouse in Joshimath, where the trek concludes with evening tea, a debriefing session, and dinner.
04Shea Goru to Chatru & Drive to Chandratal
Shea Goru to Chatru & Drive to Chandratal
Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast.
After that, we will check out from the camps and proceed Chatru and drive to Chandratal you will cover Shea Goru to Chatru by foot and it will take approx 5 hours.
Shea Goru is placed at an altitude of 12,900ft and Chatru at 11, 000ft.
It is a gentle trek downhill from Shea Goru.
After that we will Visit Chandra Tal Lake , located at a height of 14,000 feet.
Later check in to the Campsite Chatru, have dinner, and overnight stay at the tents.
05Chatru to Manali
Chatru to Manali
Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast.
After that, we will check out from the campsite & proceed towards Manali.

Before 30 Days: Full Refund (After Deducting Any Expenses that have been Incurred for Hotel Bookings, Transport, etc.)
Between 21-30 Days: 75% of the Total Trip Cost will be Refunded.
Between 11-20 Days: 50% of the Total Trip cost will be Refunded.
Between 0-10 Days: No Refund.
