Trip Overview

Shangarh is a serene and lesser-explored village nestled in
the Sainj Valley, part of the Great Himalayan National Park in
Himachal Pradesh. The highlight of the village is the
Shangarh Meadows, a vast open grassland surrounded by
pine forests and snow-capped peaks, often compared to the
beauty of Kashmir’s landscapes.
This village is also home to centuries-old wooden temples,
like the Shangchul Mahadev Temple, which holds great
spiritual and cultural significance for the locals. Unlike more
commercialized hill stations, Shangarh remains untouched
by heavy tourism, offering peace, tranquility, and a raw
connection to nature.

Day-wise itinerary

Delhi To Aut

Dinner ( At Your Own )

  • Assemble at ISBT Kashmiri Gate Volvo bus stand in Delhi by evening.
  • The journey to Aut is almost 12 hours long.
  • Volvo will be in charge of your comfort concerns during the overnight journey.
  • We will take a stop in between for dinner (at your own expense).
  • Reach Aut and transfer to Shangarh, check in to the Hotel.
  • Later, proceed to visit Barshangarh Waterfall, and then Shangchul Mahadev Temple.
  • Hike the beautiful meadow and explore nearby Attractions.
  • After sightseeing, return to the Hotel/Homestay.
  • Overnight stay followed by dinner.
  • Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, check out from the hotel, and proceed to Raila village.
  • Visit the historic Raila Fort and go for a short hike to the Raila Waterfall.
  • After sightseeing, transfer to Bhuntar. If time allows, you can do river rafting at the Beas River near Kullu.
  • Overnight journey to Delhi.
We will reach Delhi in the morning & this thrilling journey comes to an end with fond memories, new friends & a mobile gallery loaded with glimpses of this adventurous trip.
  • Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and proceed to visit Pundrik Rishi Lake (5 km trek).
  • The hiking trail is surrounded by towering pine and deodar trees.
  • Visit the lake & carved wooden temple dedicated to Pundrik Rishi.
  • After sightseeing, return to the Hotel/Homestay.
  • Overnight stay followed by dinner.

Cancellation policy

  • Before 30 Days: Full Refund (After Deducting Any Expenses that have been Incurred for Hotel Bookings, Transport, etc.)

  • Between 21-30 Days: 75% of the Total Trip Cost will be Refunded.

  • Between 11-20 Days: 50% of the Total Trip cost will be Refunded.

  • Between 0-10 Days: No Refund.
