Destination overview
About Nainital
Nainital is a lake town in Kumaon, built around the pear-shaped Naini Lake and busy with boats, Mall Road walkers and hill-station food stalls. It is also the most popular stop for visitors heading to Kainchi Dham, the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba, about an hour away.
Our Nainital trip does not stop there. From Nainital it drives to Rishikesh for the evening Ganga aarti and a morning on the rapids. It then goes up to Mussoorie and Landour, where old cottages, bakeries and quiet forest walks are a nice change from the Mussoorie crowds. It is a relaxed week that covers three very different sides of Uttarakhand from Delhi.
It is a good fit for families and first-time hill travellers. There is no trekking, and each day has plenty of time for cafés and long lunches.

He understood exactly what I was looking for and tailored the itinerary to match my preferences perfectly. What stood out the most was his attention to detail—every hotel, activity, and transfer was well-planned and hassle-free. He checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly and was always available if I had questions or needed changes.
